We went there for a lunch after nice walks. The food is amazing with great home baked bread and other stuff was great too. The staff is very kind and friendly.

Went to this little cafe before a walk up to Dollar Castle. I'm a vegetarian and I was so surprised by the surplus of vegetarian brunch options. The specials also sounded so good. I especially loved the Wild Hearth sourdough and Wee Stoater espresso. It's lovely to see such a big selection of local produce in a cafe. The food was 10/10 for both me and my partner.

I come here regularly. I HAVE to write this review now because I just had the BEST SCONE OF MY LIFE. Fresh, still warm from the oven, fluffy. The best. More generally, the customer service is always 10/10. Warm, kind, welcoming, great chat. The same goes for the food, they're menu is bang on. I really love this place and there's a reason I drive here from my own town.

We normally wouldn’t do reviews, but we really loved the coffee at this place (it was really good!) and the friendly atmosphere. We were visiting from Australia and we found Dollar to be a lovely town and Cafe No 44 to be a great stop to get some refreshments.

Warm welcome and lots of tasty options on the menu. Sandwiches are filled generously, they fuelled our walk up the glen! Homemade soup was delicious as well. Highly recommend a visit.

Lovely cafe. Full of locals catching up with each other. The Creamy Fish Chowder is amazing! The cooked breakfast was great! And the warm chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and ice cream was divine! The staff are very friendly and attentive. Compliments to all the staff in the kitchen. Please visit if you get the chance.

After a long walk, I stopped by Cafe at No. 44 for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the staff were warm and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect spot to relax and recharge. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had the spicy ginger and corriander soup along with the avocado and tomato on sourdough with an added poached egg on top. Very competent work from the chef. The server was delightful and the service 1st class. Lunch here was a joyful experience.
